Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen team at Cobs Bread. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and service standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient work schedules to meet food preparation demands
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring seamless food preparation and service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory management
  • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a supervisory role in a food service environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
