About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working as a Field Technician Specialist in the Greater Toronto Area. You'll be responsible for:

  • Performing installations, verifications, testing, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm systems.
  • Completing and submitting written service reports covering all aspects of each assignment and activity.
  • Maintaining up-to-date site files for each contract.
  • Participating in Installation to Service handovers on assigned jobs.
  • Representing the company professionally at customer sites.
  • Updating the Site database to keep records current.
  • Collaborating with other teams to maintain customer satisfaction and quality assurance procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in service and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems.
  • Installation of equipment and panel programming experience.
  • Valid CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) certification.
  • Proven diagnostic skills – able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Knowledge of IP Networks, C-Cure systems, and MS-Office.
  • Customer-focused and good customer relationship building and management skills.
  • Good understanding of Building and Fire codes.
  • Good communication skills in English both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Siemens Fire Alarm systems.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and the level of expertise required for this role.
