Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at CITY FURNITURE & APPLIANCES (KAMLOOPS) LTD. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales floor staff to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Authorize returns and exchanges, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyzing data to inform merchandising and personnel decisions.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
