Job Summary

VK Machining & Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators in various manufacturing tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions and assist in the setup and operation of conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials, and load and unload vehicles.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, and polish metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools, and assist in the maintenance of a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a repetitive and physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
