About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at W & M Wire & Metal Product Ltd. as a Metal Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components and structures to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the materials required for each project and plan the most efficient methods and sequences of operation.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and instructions to plan and execute the fabrication process.
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate cutting and assembly of metal components.
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, and weld or bolt them together as required.
  • Construct patterns and templates to aid in the fabrication process.
  • Install fabricated components in the final product, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication, preferably in a structural metal or steel environment.
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
