About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

The successful candidate will provide service in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings, educating and communicating with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required.

About You

We are looking for a highly qualified Physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required.

The ideal candidate will have computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) is also necessary. Additionally, the successful applicant may be required to provide services anywhere within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.

Hours and Compensation

This is a short-assignment full-time position with 100% FTE, 75 hours bi-weekly. The approximate duration of the assignment is 7 months. The hourly rate is $42.89.
