Position Overview

The University of Lethbridge invites applications for a full-time continuing instructor position at the Instructor III rank in the Accounting area on our Calgary or Lethbridge Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and assessing courses, updating course content, and participating in School and Accounting Area governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and assessing courses in accounting, including audit, managerial, and financial accounting
  • Updating course content to ensure relevance and accuracy
  • Participating in School and Accounting Area governance, including committee work and professional development
  • Engaging with students and providing support for their academic success
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in accounting, a Canadian CPA designation, and significant accounting work experience. A graduate degree is preferred, or equivalent experience. The candidate should also have a commitment to teaching excellence and engagement with students.
