The University of Lethbridge invites applications for a full-time continuing instructor position at the Instructor III rank in the Accounting area. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and assessing courses, updating course content, and participating in School and Accounting Area governance. The position is available on either the Calgary or Lethbridge campus, with preference given to those with experience teaching or background in analytics or technology in an accounting context.
Responsibilities may include instruction and assessment, course content updating, pedagogical and assessment improvements, course and curriculum development, and other service activities such as case competition coaching and participation in student-related functions.
The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree, a Canadian CPA designation, and significant accounting work experience. A graduate degree is preferred, or equivalent experience. The applicant should be willing and able to continue with limited ongoing accounting activities in a work or volunteer context to maintain their professional competence, as well as professional development activities to maintain their Canadian CPA designation.
The Dhillon School of Business is AACSB accredited and values both teaching and research excellence. We maintain close ties with the community through our experiential programs. Students can concentrate their undergraduate studies in a wide range of certificates, diplomas, degree majors, and combined degrees.
