Job Title: Plant Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineer to join our team at Shogun Maitake Canada Co Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the efficient operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize production processes.
  • Design and implement manufacturing systems to optimize the use of computer networks, robots, and materials.
  • Develop and implement performance standards and wage and incentive programs to motivate employees.
  • Supervise a team of technicians, technologists, analysts, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.
  • Analyze costs of production and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities and equipment.
  • Assess industrial facilities to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance industrial health and safety.
  • Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure the optimal operation of plant equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
