Job Title: Plant Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineer to join our team at Shogun Maitake Canada Co Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing systems to optimize the use of computer networks, robots, and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement programs to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste
  • Design and plan plant layouts and facilities to maximize efficiency
  • Supervise a team of technicians, technologists, and engineers to ensure smooth operations
  • Analyze costs of production and identify opportunities for cost reduction
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure optimal equipment performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, business administration)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
