Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at THE DILL PICKLE SANDWICH BAR & CAFE. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting our Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of menu items
  • Support the culinary team in the kitchen, including food preparation, plating, and presentation
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a positive dining experience
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a culinary role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
