We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Systems Inspector to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical system issues and implement repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of documented experience in low-voltage electrical systems; Fire and/or Life Safety Systems experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass criminal background and clean driving record checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with using PCs and software applications, including MS Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
