Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Team Lead - Specimen Processing to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the specimen processing team, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, and solving common problems that may arise.
Key Responsibilities- Organize the daily work of the team and ensure that tasks are completed on time
- Ensure documentary traceability of the receipt and shipment of biological samples
- Follow up on anomalies and non-conformities in collaboration with the various Dynacare departments and implement corrective actions if necessary
- Participate in daily tasks such as data entry and verification of medical requests as needed
- Participate in the optimization of operational processes and the implementation of new services
- Write and update operational procedures
- Perform the training necessary for the development of the team
- Ensure compliance with quality standards according to the procedures in place
- Any other responsibility assigned by the immediate superior
- College or university degree in a relevant field or certified MLA
- 1-3 years of experience in data entry and management of biological samples
- Bilingualism (French/English both oral and written) an asset
- Knowledge of ISO / GLP standards an asset
- Knowledge of WHIMIS and TDG an asset
- Autonomous, responsible, sense of organization and planning
- Strong communication skills and effective teamwork skills
- Ability to manage priorities
- Ability to work in a changing and constantly evolving environment
- Availability to work overtime as needed
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
