The Role

  • Create innovative design concepts based on principles of accessibility and inclusive design
  • Develop and execute wireframes, prototypes, and design templates
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable design improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine design concepts and prototypes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in user experience and design
  • Contribute to the development of our design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across our products

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital product design experience or a similar role
  • Experience designing interactions for blind, low vision, deaf, and hard of hearing users
  • Expertise in industry-standard design tools such as Figma
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of interaction design with an emphasis on inclusivity
  • Ability to analytically approach and solve complex problems
  • Hands-on experience working in an agile environment
  • Team player with experience collaborating with cross-functional colleagues

Bonus Requirements

  • Experience working at a top-tier fast-moving technology company
  • Exploratory work with new AI-driven tools to augment the work of designers, researchers, and/or developers
  • Knowledge of screen readers and other assistive technologies
