We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Designer to join our team at Interac Corp.

This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about designing user-centered solutions and driving innovation in the financial services industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of our products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop innovative solutions.

About the Role:

  • Create high-fidelity designs that meet stakeholder requirements and feedback.
  • Lead the creation of various design needs, from quick mock-ups to high-fidelity designs.
  • Actively receive feedback from stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs.
  • Presentation and articulation of design choices and rationale to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with our development team to ensure designs are communicated clearly and handed-off efficiently.
  • Define and deliver design components while ensuring project milestones and timelines are prioritized.
  • Champion accessible design and ensure WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 Level A & AA compliance.

About You:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Design, a related field, or relevant professional experience.
  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and its entirety of functionality.
  • 2+ years of experience in a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer role.
  • Advanced knowledge of the end-to-end design process.
  • The ability to communicate design concepts to designers, developers, and other stakeholders.
