Job Title: Accessibility Lead Designer

We are an assistive technology company on a mission to make the world more accessible. Our visual and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting service combines AI and live, human-to-human professional assistance for people who are blind, have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer to lead our design efforts in accessibility and inclusive design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative design concepts based on principles of accessibility and inclusive design.

Your primary focus will be on designing interactions for users with disabilities, including those who are blind, low vision, deaf, or hard of hearing. You will work closely with our team to communicate insights and refine design concepts and prototypes.

You will also be responsible for creating wireframes and prototype ideas, translating customer feedback and stakeholder insights into actionable design improvements, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in user experience and design.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of digital product design experience or a similar role
  • Experience and enthusiasm for accessibility and inclusive design
  • Expertise with industry-standard design tools such as Figma
  • Hands-on experience working in an agile environment
  • Undergraduate degree in Interaction Design or related field (User Experience, Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working at a top-tier fast-moving technology company
  • Knowledge of data manipulation languages
  • Experience in front-end development in frameworks such as Flutter
  • Experience designing user experiences to support collaboration between humans and AI
What We Offer:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including top-tier medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. You will also have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that make a real impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates in the Americas, offering flexibility and balance while making it easier for teams to define core hours when everyone is available.
