The Operations Director at Canadian Mental Health Association Mid-Island plays a pivotal role in our Management team, overseeing Human Resources, Risk Management, and Reporting processes. As a leader in a mentally healthy workplace, the Operations Director must be able to 'walk the talk' and set the example. This role requires experience in a nonprofit environment, social housing organization, or mental health association. A background of working with unionized staff is an asset. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of community, stakeholder, and client challenges and opportunities related to the mandate of CMHA Mid-Island.
The Operations Director will be required to have a criminal record check and participate in meetings, conferences, and other events that may involve long work days, evenings, or weekends, as well as some travel. The compensation and benefits package includes a salary range of $97,209 - $139,738, extended health care, dental care, and vision care, guided by the salary range schedule for executive, management, and excluded employees provided by the Health Employers Association of BC.
