The Opportunity:

Due to HKA's continued growth in North America, we are looking to add a dynamic and experienced Director level consultant to our Construction Claims team. This role is integral to the Construction team with high internal and client visibility.

This position offers high levels of variety in day-to-day responsibilities, including opportunities for personal career growth, team collaboration, and client interface.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading project document organization and filing.
  • Leading project schedule analysis.
  • Developing as-built schedules based on project records.
  • Preparing graphics to depict findings.
  • Analyzing labor and cost data.
  • Performing or contributing to Expert Testimony, including report preparation and court documentation.
  • Document chronology development.
  • Report writing.
  • People management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, or other STEM field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in:
  • the construction consulting industry, preferably with hands-on experience with problem projects.
  • construction management firms and/or prior litigation consulting firms preferred.

Detailed understanding of construction documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes.

Proficient in analyzing large volumes of data using Microsoft Excel.

Primavera P6 Expertise.

Strong people management and development skillsets.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
