Job Overview

The Construction Project Coordinator Specialist provides an integral service and technical resource for NHWICC by ensuring professional communication with all Homeowners, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure scope of work is being followed as per quoting process and to ensure accurate timelines and project budgets are achieved.

$83,000 - $95,000 Per Year

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare/Acquire Accurate Quotations: Prepare accurate quotations, job costing, and estimates to ensure timely completion of projects.
  2. Provide Technical Explanations: Provide technical explanations and feedback to Homeowners and consultants to ensure that they understand the scope of work and any necessary adjustments.
  3. Quality Control: Ensure quality control of construction and remediation standards to meet the requirements of NHWICC and its clients.
  4. Project Safety: Oversee project safety to ensure that all personnel on site are aware of potential hazards and take necessary precautions.
  5. Communication: Maintain efficient communication at all stages of the project with Homeowners, consultants, and internal management to ensure smooth execution.
  6. On-Time Project Completion: Ensure timely completion of projects to meet client expectations.
  7. Liaison: Act as a liaison between NHWICC, Builder Members, and Homeowners to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
  8. Cost Analysis: Collaborate with Claims Resolution Senior Project Manager to conduct cost analysis, reporting, and follow-up of active CR claims.
  9. Process Improvement: Support process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Claims Activities: Provide enhanced communications between NHWICC, Builder Members, and Homeowners related to claims activities, progress, and policies and procedures.
  11. Dispute Resolution: Assist in dispute resolution between Homeowners and contractors to resolve issues amicably.
  12. File Management: Manage and action claims files to ensure timely closure and budget adherence.
  13. Salesforce Updates: Update Salesforce records to reflect the latest file information and actions taken.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience managing construction projects in home building or restoration.
  • Experience working with engineers, consultants, trades, homeowners, builders.
  • Experience managing supply chain/vendor management.
  • Understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements relating to the industry.
