The Opportunity:

Owing to HKA's continued growth in North America, we seek a dynamic and experienced director-level consultant for our Construction Claims team. This role is crucial to the Construction team, with significant internal and client visibility.

The Director position offers high levels of variety in day-to-day responsibilities, including opportunities for personal career growth, team collaboration, and client interface.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading project document organization and filing.
  • Analysis of project schedules and development of as-built schedules based on project records.
  • Preparation of graphics to depict findings.
  • Analysis of labor and cost data.
  • Expert testimony, including report preparation and court documentation.
  • Development of document chronologies.
  • Report writing.
  • People management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction consulting industry, preferably with hands-on experience with problem projects.
  • Detailed understanding of construction documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other relevant documents.
  • Proficiency in analyzing large volumes of data using Microsoft Excel.
  • Primavera P6 Expertise.
  • Strong people management and development skillsets.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
