Job Title: Employee Relations Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our team at CB Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic consulting level support and guidance to line level leaders and team members across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including investigations, performance improvement, and policy interpretation.
  • Develop and implement proactive solutions to achieve business outcomes through people.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders and business groups to create and deploy best practices in employee relations.
  • Conduct assessments, audits, and investigations to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement metrics and system reporting to measure the effectiveness of employee relations initiatives.
  • Partner with the employment legal team to drive an environment of positive employee relations.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on team effectiveness, employee performance, and development planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources or comparable area.
  • HRPA certification preferred.
  • Experience in consulting, strategic recommendations, and measurement/analytics.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels, build trusted relationships, and navigate a complex matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
  • Experience in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present views and arguments well to various levels and audiences.
