Director, Correspondent Sales and Relationship Management Lead

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Correspondent Sales and Relationship Management to join our Correspondent & Institutional team at Aviso Wealth.
This leadership role will be responsible for leading a high-performing team focused on driving growth and delivering exceptional partner experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting sales goals and profit targets in alignment with the division's business plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management and other key stakeholders to define sales strategies, identify market opportunities, and assist in development approaches to expand the client base
- Establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with prospects to grow new business opportunities
- Manage and support a team that is focused on value-added solutions and reporting that not only meet but exceed our partners' expectations
- Delegate effectively and prudently ensuring all skills and resources are leveraged to the best capacity and provide opportunity for learning and career growth
- Ensure the team has the appropriate tools for prompt and thorough resolutions of customer issues as well as proactively offering reporting and opportunities for our partners
- Support marketing efforts through attendance at trade shows, industry events, as well as maintains and expands industry and product knowledge to be relevant and beneficial to clients
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize sales and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales initiatives with broader organizational goals and ensure seamless execution
- Works closely with the Senior Vice President, Correspondent & Institutional to develop revenue growth forecasts and budgets
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree and 10-15 years of experience in a sales role with financial and brokerage industry knowledge. They will also have completion of CSC and CPH, as well as experience dealing with Portfolio Management firms, CIRO & MFDA firms, and other Institutional firms in Canada and the US. Proven relationship management and focus on value-added customer service are essential, as well as experience in sales prospecting and lead development, and demonstrated success in directly leading a high-performing sales team.
