About the Role

The SAP Business Partner is a key member of the BRP team, responsible for leading the deployment and evolution of the SAP solution within the assigned business area. This role plays a critical part in acting as the single-point-of-contact between end-users and the Center of Excellence (COE).

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure business areas stay proficient with changes by providing continuous learning of new features and processes.
  • Develop, improve, and maintain training material and exercises; deliver training and coaching to end-users.
  • Document knowledge in the knowledge library to ensure sustainment and easy onboarding of new employees.
  • Request, validate, and maintain security end-user lists for assigned business areas.
  • Evaluate how changes impact people and prepare, clarify, and communicate changes related to business processes, systems, job roles, and organizational structures.
  • Coordinate actions and priorities with other SAP Business Partners of the Logistics & Distribution group.
  • Bring best practices within assigned business areas to gain efficiency, improve value, and lean processes by:
    • Attending community calls and/or leadership governance.
    • Suggesting improvements and updating processes.
    • Providing input to communications, policies, and strategies.
    • Releasing best practice guidelines.
    • Keeping an eye out on trends and new features for proposing initiatives.
    • Setting tactical plans to support strategic development goals within the business area and ensuring progress towards these goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to logistics & warehouse operations or any relevant disciplines such as computer science or business administration.
  • Holds from 3+ years of experience in the discipline related to warehouse operations. Experience in business analysis, process improvements, project management are a plus.
  • Experience with SAP/S4 and/or any EWM system.
  • Travel at least once a month to other distribution centers in the US.
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the business area as well as its systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Familiar with project management approaches, tools, and project lifecycle.
  • Embrace change and ability to role-model desired to-be behaviors.
