About the Role

The SAP Business Partner is a key role within the Logistics and Distribution group, responsible for leading the deployment and evolution of the SAP solution within assigned business areas. This position plays a critical role in acting as the single-point-of-contact between end-users and the Center of Excellence (COE).

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure business areas stay proficient with changes by providing continuous learning of new features and processes.
  • Develop, improve, and maintain training material and exercises; deliver training and coaching to end-users.
  • Document knowledge in the knowledge library to ensure sustainment and easy onboarding of new employees.
  • Request, validate, and maintain security end-user lists for assigned business areas.
  • Evaluate how changes impact people and prepare, clarify, and communicate changes related to business processes, systems, job roles, and organizational structures.
  • Coordinate actions and priorities with other SAP Business Partners of the Logistics & Distribution group.
  • Bring best practices within assigned business areas to gain efficiency, improve value, and lean processes by attending community calls and/or leadership governance, suggesting improvements and updating processes, providing input to communications, policies, and strategies, releasing best practice guidelines, and keeping an eye out on trends and new features for proposing initiatives.
  • Set tactical plans to support strategic development goals within business areas and ensure progress towards these goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to logistics & warehouse operations or any relevant disciplines such as computer science or business administration.
  • Holds from 3+ years of experience in the discipline related to warehouse operations. Experience in business analysis, process improvements, project management are a plus.
  • Experience with SAP/S4 and/or any EWM system.
  • Travel at least once a month to other distribution centers in the US.
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the business area as well as its systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Familiar with project management approaches, tools, and project lifecycle.
  • Embrace change and ability to role-model desired to-be behaviors.
