About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Consultant to join our team at BrokerLink Inc. in Brampton, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice on personal insurance matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Service ongoing client needs by conducting needs assessments, recommending solutions, and answering inquiries.
  • Sell new policies and retain existing business by quoting new business through outbound calls and introductory letters.
  • Contact underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy details.
  • Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, and process changes and renewals.
  • Maintain knowledge of underwriting rules and workflow processes.
  • Participate in training initiatives and community marketing efforts.
  • Process account receivable activities and provide guidance as requested.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or post-secondary education is required.
  • At least one year of experience in personal insurance is preferred.
  • RIBO license is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Epic system is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Estimate: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
