Job Summary
The Government of Nunavut is seeking a skilled Manager to lead the Home and Community Care program in Rankin Inlet. As a key member of the Health Programs team, you will provide program expertise and coordinate support to planning, program development, service delivery, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate expertise across departments, partner departments, and agencies to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.
- Develop and implement community development strategies to deepen community capacity.
- Ensure compliance with territorial standards of care and deliver quality case management, nursing, and support services to clients.
- Collaborate with the Director, Health Programs, to achieve program goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in nursing or diploma in nursing with five years' experience in community nursing, including three years of supervisory experience.
- Eligibility to register with RNANTNU.
- Basic BCLS certification with annual re-certification.
- Wound care, diabetes care, palliative care, specialized foot care, peripheral intravenous (PIV), and central intravenous (IV) access certificates are considered an asset.
