About the Role

The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service requirements.
  • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs, ensuring transparency and trust with customers.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience as an auto technician, with a strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
  • Fast, eager learner and team player, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to customers.
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license, with the ability to travel to various locations as needed.
