We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Strickland's GM. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards, ensuring that all repairs are completed to a high level of quality and safety.
- Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment to identify and diagnose vehicle issues.
- Customer Communication: Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service requirements, and provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
- Warranty and Compliance: Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as an auto technician, with a strong understanding of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Skills: Fast, eager learner and team player, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service skills, and computer skills.
- Certifications: 310S certificate and a valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
