Job Title: Painter - Surface Preparation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Painter - Surface Preparation Specialist to join our team at Diamond Crete And Construction Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing surfaces for painting, including drywall taping/patching, water/hydroblasting, and sandblasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.
  • Work at heights, outdoors, and in confined spaces.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in painting or a related field.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation.

Working Conditions:

  • Physically demanding work in various locations.
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling.

Security and Safety:

  • Driving record check (abstract).
