About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at A&R Epoxy Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a solid foundation for flooring installation.
  • Install carpeting on floors, including measuring, cutting, and stretching to ensure a smooth, even finish.
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors, including sanding, staining, and finishing to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring a safe and durable installation.
  • Operate knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting and ensure a tight, secure fit.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in floor covering installation, with a focus on hardwood and carpet installation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
