Type: Full Time

Starting Compensation Package: $40,000 to $60,000 (Salary, Commission & Bonus Package)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified professional to join our winning team as an Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet marketing goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals

Requirements:

  • Sales experience, preferably in outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and make presentations to potential customers
  • Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain)

This position is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries.
