Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cannabis industry and its trends, genetics, and grow operations. They should also possess excellent communication skills and an infectious personality, as well as experience running activations and events.
As a Sales Territory Development Representative, you will have the opportunity to be a key source of information on actionable retail insights, build relationships with key retail stores, and ensure our brand position and promise is clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with the Alberta Sales Manager and Head of Sales and Marketing to execute Sales & Trade Marketing strategies for Carmel.
- Manage Carmel's retail education program, through both budtender and consumer-facing initiatives.
- Coordinate the development of all Trade Marketing assets.
- Analyze the territory's potential, track activity, and submit results reports regularly to management.
- Monitor and assess brand health and competitive opportunities/threats and proactively propose consumer and trade marketing strategies.
- Manage cross-functional relationships, encouraging use of best practices, process improvement, and clear and consistent communication.
- Participate in sales meetings with the management team and actively work to achieve monthly KPIs.
- Build and maintain relationships with staff and managers.
Our preferred candidate will have sales experience, preferably in inside sales and sales of a regulated product. They should also have a strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
