Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Radiography Technologist II to join our Radiology department at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic/fluoroscopic and related duties, working in conjunction with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic/fluoroscopic and related duties, adhering to established standards of practice and professional guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiographic procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all patients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
