Job Title: Greenhouse Worker

Woodmore Nurseries Inc is seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain greenhouses to ensure a healthy and productive environment for plants.
  • Harvest and transplant seedlings, cuttings, and bulbs to promote growth and development.
  • Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed to prevent disease and pests.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal growth and health.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning work areas and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Hand-eye coordination to handle delicate plants and equipment.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Permanent position with 37.5 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
