Director of Senior Living Communities

About the Role:
Optima Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our senior living communities throughout Alberta and BC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement site-level vision, mission, values, and organizational strategies to drive growth and successions.
- Conduct performance evaluations and promote team building and engagement.
- Manage relationships with support services teams, including dental care, extended health care, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.
- Oversee budget creation and implementation, analyzing data and financial statements to establish targets and drive results.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and participate in in-services and fire drills.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in property management or a relevant diploma or degree program in healthcare administration/long-term care or hospitality.
- Experience in a retirement setting is preferred.
- Completion of CPR and First Aid is an asset.
- Talent Management skills, including performance evaluations and team building.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and financial statements.
