Study Clerk, Respiratory Oncology Specialist

BC Cancer is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Breathomic's Research team at the BC Cancer Research Institute.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, schedule, and complete research participants into a large trial.
  • Photocopy and maintain study materials for staff and participants.
  • File and organize study documents, reports, and pathology results.
  • Assist project coordinators and research staff with clinical trials and participant chart packs.
  • Log and file specimen slides for analysis or additional study.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education and one year of related experience.
  • Ability to type 50 wpm and use Microsoft Word at a beginner to intermediate level.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology an asset.
  • Commitment to upholding reconciliation and Indigenous Cultural Safety principles.
