Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Feed Mill Worker to join our team at our Truro Feed Mill. As a Feed Mill Worker, you will be responsible for running equipment, mixing and weighing product, loading and unloading shipments, and working as a team to ensure our company's safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Mix and weigh product to ensure accurate formulations
  • Load and unload shipments, including repetitive heavy lifting and use of equipment such as lift trucks and forklifts
  • Work as a team to ensure our company's safety and quality standards are met

Requirements

  • Be physically able to repeatedly lift 25 kgs
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Have a commitment to safety
  • Have great attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Have general knowledge of safe work practices and safe lifting methods
  • Be comfortable working with heights (ladders with safety railings)
  • Be able to work in a dusty environment
