**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in residential, commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure the proper functioning of refrigeration equipment and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

**Duties**:

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls
- Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
- Diagnose malfunctions and identify the root cause of issues in refrigeration systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards when working with refrigerants
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
- Red Seal Certification in Refrigeration or willingness to acheive
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of refrigeration systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in using tools and equipment necessary for refrigeration repairs
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
- Prior experience in agriculture, food processing plants and commercial equipment
- Knowledge of Carbon Dioxide refrigeration considered an asset
- Experience with brazing, and welding considered an asset
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Refrigeration and/or HVAC: 1 year (preferred)

- Red Seal Air conditioning & Refrigeration license (required)
