Landscaping Team Lead

Okanagan Yard Works is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor workforce, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of grounds maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Supervise and schedule staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Coordinate the requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor work records and logs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
