About the Role

LSP Recruit is partnering with a global multi-strategy asset manager to find a highly skilled Associate to join their infrastructure investing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence, with a passion for infrastructure investing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating and evaluating complex financial models in Excel to project long-term cash flows for potential investments.
  • Reviewing and summarizing market data, demand drivers, economic indicators, regulatory frameworks, financial reports, and legal documents to identify key factors driving value and potential risks in an investment.
  • Conducting research initiatives specific to the industry and individual projects to support the infrastructure platform and staying up-to-date on industry news releases.
  • Overseeing current investments to ensure they align with business plans and taking a lead role in developing internal valuations.
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience in a direct investing-focused role, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development.
  • Strong business and investment judgment.
  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance, preferably in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Experience in complex financial modeling of businesses, preferably infrastructure-related.
  • Experience performing detailed due diligence.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a close-knit team.
