Commercial Mortgage Administrator

MCAP Financial Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Mortgage Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Servicing unit, you will be responsible for post-funding activities on commercial CMHC-Insured and Conventional Mortgages.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage tax escrow accounts, including collecting tax bills, preparing backups, and processing tax disbursements.
- Follow up on solicitor final reports to ensure timely receipt of final, signed mortgage documents.
- Administer PPSA renewals and amendments, liaising with borrowers and third-party vendors as needed.
- Process payments and reconcile daily deposits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle mortgage discharge legal documentation and liaise with solicitors as required.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial mortgage administration, with a focus on tax escrow administration and knowledge of commercial mortgage legal documentation.
- Experience working in a loan servicing system.
- Proven track record of being a self-starter and taking initiative.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills and verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
- Bilingual (French and English) and post-secondary diploma or degree.
