We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Driver Record Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing driver records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in posting transactions and information.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately and efficiently process driver record transactions, including convictions, defaults, and driver improvement training requirements.
- Initiate follow-up action for drivers as required under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act, including suspension of license privileges for non-compliance.
- Provide clients with information regarding their driver's record, license status, reinstatement requirements, and vehicle registration issues via telephone.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, making decisions that have a direct impact on clients, and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions.
- Four (4) years of related experience in a customer service and/or administrative environment.
- Working knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and an understanding of the rules of the road.
- Proficiency in data entry and well-developed computer skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to interpret and analyze driver records and make recommendations in alignment with the Motor Vehicle Act and legislation.
- A competitive salary range of $1,684.00 - $1,884.17 bi-weekly.
