Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Crosswood Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material deliveries, equipment maintenance, and site inspections.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including budget updates, timelines, and quality control.
  • Recruit, train, and develop construction staff, including apprentices and new hires.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Manage site inventory, including materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including labor hours, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform site inspections and manual labor tasks.
