Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Hive Invesco Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, Measure, and Mark Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered, measure and mark them accurately to ensure a precise fit.
  • Install Underlay and Underpadding: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to provide a smooth and even surface for flooring installation.
  • Install Flooring: Measure, cut, and install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors to meet client specifications.
  • Prepare Floors for Installation: Prepare floors for installation by removing existing floor coverings and contaminants.
  • Remove Existing Floor Coverings: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to ensure a clean and smooth surface for installation.
Work Environment:

As a Floor Covering Installer, you will work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that installations are completed on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in flooring installation.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
