About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Hive Invesco Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of floor coverings, including carpeting, hardwood floors, and resilient floor coverings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered; measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding; measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors; measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings; prepare and install hardwood floors; and prepare floors for installations.
  • Removal and Preparation: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all installations meet our high standards for quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
