Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Hive Developers. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of flooring, including carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors
  • Prepare floors for installations and remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in various locations, providing a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees. They will also be responsible for providing awareness training to employees to create a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
Language

The primary language of work is English.
