About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Growth Leader to join our Northern Ontario team at Colliers Project Leaders. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and diversification, leading a team of Project Leaders, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets to achieve business growth targets
  • Lead a team of Project Leaders, providing guidance, coaching, and empowerment to drive business results
  • Champion and personify our company values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Collaborate with leaders across the business to secure new opportunities and optimize resource allocation
  • Drive innovation and strategic thinking to expand services in the local market and achieve annual growth targets
  • Lead operational objectives, including quality, commercial/financial, people, and culture, to ensure business excellence
  • Develop and implement a culture of quality, ensuring high standards of service delivery
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations leadership and business unit growth, preferably in professional services
  • Professional industry credentials or MBA (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
  • Experience managing a portion of a high-growth P&L to Plan
  • Clear understanding of a professional services business model, including workforce composition and resource management strategies, risk management strategies, and commercial strategies
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to successfully lead teams and develop/implement operational plans for corporate initiatives
  • Leadership experience in the diversification of a business and the development of new market opportunities
  • The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook, demonstrate an energetic disposition, and motivate teams to achieve business growth ambitions
  • An established network of industry contacts and relationships within the region, as well as involvement with applicable regional industry and trade associations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, including a proven ability to write winning proposals and win competitive interviews
