Starport is a Canadian managed IT services provider specializing in delivering top-tier IT design, implementation, and ongoing network monitoring services to mid-sized businesses throughout Canada, particularly in the Greater Toronto Area. Our diverse clientele spans various sectors, including finance, manufacturing, and real estate.

Your responsibilities as the Director of Sales Growth will encompass:

  • Enhancing the sales framework - Establishing a structured sales process, implementing tools, designing compensation plans, forming business development teams, and developing marketing strategies and performance metrics.
  • Player-coach role - Utilize your extensive network and sales expertise to pursue and secure new business opportunities while gradually building and managing a sales team.
  • Executing cross-functional growth initiatives - While your primary focus will be on driving new client acquisition, collaboration across sales, account management, marketing, and operations will be essential.
  • Strategic partnership with the CEO - As the sales leader, you will work closely with the CEO to shape and implement the overall business strategy.
  • Experience in Managed Service Provider sales - A background in selling within an MSP context is essential.
  • Familiarity with the Toronto market - Knowledge of this region is preferred.
