About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join our team at Remotivate LLC. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our digital backbone, ensuring the security and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire company infrastructure, including database management and security.
  • Ensure optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems.
  • Maintain and monitor the website's uptime, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data and systems.
  • Continuously improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Excellent English and French written and verbal communication skills.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
  • Expertise in server infrastructure, with experience in Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
  • Security expertise, with a deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with expertise in optimizing and understanding the intricate details and underlying layers of PostgreSQL.
  • Fluency in TypeScript, with experience in working with it.
  • Code quality, with a strong focus on maintainability, scalability, and readability.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, with a preference for Pulumi.
  • Bonus skills: knowledge of React and React Native.
