About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Infrastructure Architect to join our team at Remotivate LLC. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments, to support our business growth.
  • Oversee the entire company infrastructure, including database management, to ensure optimization, performance, and data integrity.
  • Maintain and monitor the website's uptime, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
  • Take full accountability for all aspects of the infrastructure, including servers, networking, and security.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data and systems.
  • Continuously improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Excellent English and French written and verbal communication skills.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
  • Expertise in server infrastructure, ideally with experience in Google Cloud Platform, but also acceptable with other cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Security expertise, with a deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with fluency and expertise in optimizing and understanding the intricate details and underlying layers of PostgreSQL.
  • Fluency in working with TypeScript.
  • Code quality, with a strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, preferably with Pulumi.
  • Bonus skills: knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
